He has the making of a good Bond villain. XD

Aside from the original Shockwave, Animated is my other favorite, given that had more role in the story. Just sad to see that after Animated, he's role just ends being a scientist and stuck mostly in his lab.

IDW? That's a bit more than being stuck in a lab! And Prime's also got a good Shockwave. He makes a good first impression and remains an intimidating force.

I meant the animated continuity, there's no doubt the orginal Marvel and IDW are both great in their own right.

I didn't finish watching the Prime series so I must've missed that. But while we're at the topic; Fall of Cybertron, which was the prequel to Prime, Shockwave was also just stuck at the lab or just manning the controls.

It certainly helped Animated Shockwave was voiced by the same VA that did G1 Shockwave.

Heck, the actor based his entire performance for the voice/characterization after actor David Warner (Tron, Star Trek V and VI, as well as Star Trek: The Next Generation among many other roles.)

Now that you mentioned it, one of the reasons I love Shockwave was due to his British accent which stands out from the rest.

Shockwave, of all the Decepticons, has been my number one night terror. I agree, he would make an excellent Bond villain (especially with the voice acting in Animated).

I couldn't agree more, especially on the part when he revealed himself, it really came out of nowhere.
